Gramma’s Sloppy Joes
Sloppy Joes are just one of those meals you can’t go wrong with. There are so many variations, and everyone has a different favorite recipe. My Gramma’s recipe is still my all time favorite! So simple and only a few ingredients makes this one an obvious choice for a busy evening. Just whip it together, let it simmer, and serve it up!
I had always eaten them open faced with a fork, making them an un-sloppy joe, I suppose. Lol, but toasting the buns makes it so much easier to handle this sloppy sandwich! Seriously… toasting. Like, with a toaster. I don’t really have the patience for brushing oil and grilling buns. The toaster has a purpose, and it totally works on buns just as well as it does on bread. Give it a whirl, I promise you won’t be disappointed! Unless you have the setting up quite high… then you’ll be bummed. But I won’t take the blame for that one! Your fault if you end up with blackened buns. Totally on you.
